Nepali armed police force dominates road race

Nepali Armed Police Force (APF) players on Saturday dominated the prize of an annual national road race held in the country's tourism hub in Pokhara, some 140 km west of Nepali capital Kathmandu, Xinhua reported.
In the eighth 10km road race held in Pokhara on Saturday morning, silver medalist of South Asian Games Arjun Dhakal from APF completed the allocated distance in 32.42 minutes. Laxman Malla Thakuri and Ash Narayan Choudhary stood in second and third place with the time of 33.53 and 33.57 respectively.
In women's catagory, Surya Maya Tamang of APF won the gold medal with 40.36 minutes. Hari Devi Rajlawot took second place with 40.42 while Binda Shrestha of APF concluded in the third place with 43.06 minutes.
The program was organized by Nepal Ex-player Forum. Altogether 500 players participated in this year's contest.
