Firing occurs near army headquarters of Pakistan

Heavy firing and explosions were heard near army headquarters in Pakistan's garrison city of Rawalpindi Saturday, local TV channel reported.
  
According to an eyewitness, the shooting began when a carry vehicle was intercepted by army personnel near army headquarters on Mall Road, so the gunmen sitting on the vehicle opened heavy indiscriminate firing. Army soldiers have surrounded the vehicle and retaliated, the private TV GEO News reported.
  
As many as five hand grenades have been hurled from the vehicle, meanwhile, the entire area has been cordoned off and the road has been closed for traffic, Xinhua reported.
  
According to sources, the gunmen are dressed in army uniform.
