No radioactive contaminants have been detected in South Korea's tap water despite minuscule traces of radionuclides detected in the atmosphere in the past week, a state-run nuclear safety agency said Monday, Yonhap reported.
The Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety (KINS) said an analysis of 23 water purification plants across the country showed no detectable levels of artificial radionuclides that were released from Japan's stricken Fukushima nuclear power station last month.
