French President Nicolas Sarkozy and British Prime Minister David Cameron will visit Libya together once Moamer Gaddafi has been captured, France's Le Parisien daily reported Friday, citing sources in Sarkozy's office.
The visit would likely take place after next week's international summit on the future of Libya, being held in Paris on September 1, the paper reported.
Apart from the capital Tripoli Sarkozy was also keen to travel to the rebel strongholds of Benghazi and Misrata, his aides told the paper.
Sarkozy and Cameron front the campaign for military intervention in support of Libya's rebels. The rebels took control of most of the capital Tripoli this week, sealing their hold over most of the country, DPA reported.
