Turkish FM visits Syria

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu paid a visit to Syria today, the Turkish ANADOLU news agency reported.

It is expected that Davutoglu will discuss Syria's latest developments with the country's officials.

More than 800 people were killed in many cities during the clashes with Syrian police and army, when people demanded President Bashar al-Assad's resignation. According to authorities, this figure does not exceed a hundred. Furthermore, the dead were not civilians but rather members of terrorist groups.

On Monday, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain recalled their ambassadors from Damascus in protest to events in Syria.
