BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24. Türkiye's exports of ready-made garments to China decreased 5.3 percent year-on-year to $26.3 million from January through June 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"In June this year, Türkiye exported $4 million worth of ready-made garments to China, which is 0.2 percent less than in June last year," the statement of the ministry reads.
However, Türkiye's exports of ready-made garments decreased 12.8 percent year-on-year to $8.7 billion from January through June 2024.
"Türkiye exported $1.3 billion worth of ready-made garments in June this year, which is 21.3 percent less than in June last year," the statement from the ministry says.
To note, Türkiye exported finished garments worth $18.3 billion over the past 12 months (from June 2023 through June 2024).
