The Azerbaijani computer equipment production plant KUR is soon to start production of tablet PCs under its own brand, KUR CEO Rizvan Osmanov told Trend on Feb. 10.
"Currently, there is a decline in the Azerbaijani computer market. This is explained by the changing priorities of buyers who give preference to tablet PCs.
"The production of tablet PCs becomes more relevant," he said. "Certainly, it will be difficult for us to compete with global vendors in this segment as there are a lot of affordable devices on the market. Nevertheless, the platform for the sale of KUR tablet computers can be a new Internet project which we intend to implement in the near term."
