BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 10. Azerbaijan's exports of agrarian and agro-industrial products in 2023 amounted to $969.2 million, which is 6.2 percent more than the figure of 2022, Trend reports, referring to the data of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
According to CAERC data, $768.2 million in agro products were exported, a 7.1 percent increase over 2022.
Azerbaijan's agriculture and industrial exports totaled $201 million, up 3.2 percent over the same indicator in 2022.
Exports of food items totaled $928.2 million. Vegetable and fruit exports in 2023 increased by 8.7 percent from 2022.
Furthermore, CAERC forecasts that exports of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will increase by 1.9 times in 2023.
In general, exports from Azerbaijan, according to calculations of CAERC, brought $33.9 billion to the country in 2023.
At the same time, $3.3 billion was received from the export of non-oil products (an increase of 9.8 percent).
