BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 25. The agreement between Azerbaijan and the Slovak Republic on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of income tax evasion will enter into force on January 1, 2025, Azerbaijani Deputy Economy Minister Anar Akhundov said at the Azerbaijan-Slovak business forum held in Baku, Trend reports.
“This agreement will contribute to further improvement of business environment between the countries,” he said.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the first meeting of the Joint Working Group on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia is being held today.
“We agreed to intensify our efforts in various fields to raise economic cooperation to a new level because we have all the necessary conditions for this,” Akhundov added.
