Chief Prosecutor: Tbilisi mayor and former prime minister to be repeatedly questioned

It is planned to question the mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava and the Secretary General of the National Movement, former Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili again, chief prosecutor of Georgia Archil Kbilashvili said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

It is planned to question the mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava and the Secretary General of the National Movement, former Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili again, chief prosecutor of Georgia Archil Kbilashvili said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

He said Ugulava and Merabishvili will be questioned on various matters.

As the chief prosecutor noted, Ugulava has already been questioned in connection with Tbilservice, which illegally employed hundreds of activists of the United National Movement, and he will be questioned in connection with the territory Rike in the center of Tbilisi.

The chief prosecutor said there were some other questions, in connection with which Merabishvili will be questioned.

Kbilashvili did not specify the cases under which Merabishvili will be questioned. He said he does not consider it appropriate to disclose the information in the interests of the investigation.
