BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 6. Preparations are
underway in Baku for a military parade dedicated to the fifth
anniversary of the victory in the Second Karabakh War, Trend reports.
As part of the parade preparations, the Armed Forces of the
Republic of Azerbaijan are conducting exercises and showcasing
military equipment.
Azerbaijan celebrates Victory Day on November 8.
In addition, marches accompanied by military bands were held in
Baku today to mark the fifth anniversary of Victory Day.
The marches took place along the following routes: Alley of
Martyrs - Flame Towers Complex - Icheri Sheher Metro Station -
Fortress Gate - Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater - Azneft Square -
Monument to Bahram Guri, as well as the Olympic Star Sports and
Entertainment Center - Samad Vurgun Street - Officers' Park - Baku
State Circus - Heydar Aliyev Palace - Imadaddin Nasimi Monument -
Neftchilar Avenue.
