BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. Free visit days will be organized for local residents in the innovative and immersive "Time Pavilion" museum, which started operating in Icherisheher, Chairman of the Management Board of Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve, Rufat Mahmud, told Trend at the museum’s opening on Monday.

He noted that through virtual reality technology, museum visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the landscape of Baku in 1919 and feel the atmosphere of that time.

"This museum is part of the administration's Smart Reserve concept. Through modern technologies, we create conditions for visitors to experience new experiences. The museum starts operating today and we believe that it will become one of the important places to visit in the Old City," the chairman pointed out.

Speaking about the ticket prices, Mahmud said that the ticket policy in Icherisheher is being updated, and several packages have been prepared again. Discounted ticket prices are applied for citizens of Azerbaijan.

According to him, the program intended for the residents of Icherisheher also includes various events, and separate free visit days will be organized for the residents.
