The value of production of metallurgical products in Azerbaijan increased by 33 percent or 243.2 million manat ($143 million) from January through September 2021, compared to the same period of last year - up to 736.9 million manat ($433.4 million), Trend reports citing a report from the State Statistical Committee.
Cast steel - 220,600 tons in 9M2021 (up by 18.5 percent, compared to 9M2020)
Rebar - 219,000 tons in 9M2021 (up by 27.1 percent, compared to 9M2020)
Steel pipes - 27,600 tons in 9M2021 (up by 7 percent, compared to 9M2020)
Unwrought aluminum - 17,300 tons in 9M2021 (down by 31.6 percent, compared to 9M2020)
Aluminum rods, shafts and profiles - 1,859 tons in 9M2021 (down by 4.3 percent, compared to 9M2020)
Other ferrous structures - 17,587 tons in 9M2021 (down by 31.1 percent, compared to 9M2020)
Copper stranded wires without electrical - 4,150 tons in 9M2021 (up by 9.2 percent, compared to 9M2020)
The production of other structures from ferrous metals amounted to about 17,587 tons (a decrease of 31.1 percent).
Last year, production in the metallurgical industry of Azerbaijan increased by 11.9 percent compared to 2019 - up to 707 million manat ($415.8 million).
