BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Turkiye increased the export of leather products to Kyrgyzstan by 40.6 percent from January through May 2022 compared to the same period last year to $4.4 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
Turkiye reduced the export of leather products to Kyrgyzstan by 19.8 percent ($170,000) in May 2020 compared to the same month in 2021.
The export of leather products from Turkiye increased by 26.1 percent from January through May 2022 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $807 million.
Turkiye exported leather products worth $117 million in May of this year, which is 16.1 percent more than in May last year.
Turkiye has exported leather products worth $1.9 billion over the past 12 months (from May 2021 through May 2022).
