BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 28. Some 21 companies with Kazakh capital in March 2023 were registered in Türkiye, which is 5 less than in the same period of 2022, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
According to the source, during the reporting period, despite the reduction in the number of registered Kazakhstani companies, their total capital increased.
"In the accounting period, the total capital of Kazakh companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 8.2 million Turkish liras ($421,542), while for the same period in 2022 totaled 4.7 million Turkish liras ($241,615)," the TOBB said in a statement.
The TOBB also noted that in the third month of the current year, the majority of Kazakh companies were registered in Türkiye's Istanbul, the amount of which amounted to 16.
"The total capital of the companies registered in Istanbul reached 5.4 million Turkish liras ($277,600)," TOBB added.
Furthermore, in the specified period, some 11 companies with Kazakh capital in the field of trade were registered in the country.
Meanwhile, the rest of the companies are involved in other sectors of the economy.
