BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 5. The volume of polyethylene exports in value terms increased by almost 57 percent from January through August 2023 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication of Azerbaijan, the volume of polyethylene exports from January through August 2022 amounted to $40.2 million. In addition, for the same period of 2023, this figure amounted to $63.2 million.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, over 112,000 tons of polyethylene were produced in quantitative terms in the reporting period of 2023, and the export of polyethylene amounted to over 97,000 tons.
In general, Azerbaijan produced over 84,000 tons of polyethylene and exported over 60,000 tons of polyethylene during the same period of 2022.
