BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 16. Azerbaijan's public catering turnover increased by 21.2 percent to 1.4 billion manat ($823.5 million) from January through September 2023 year-on-year, Trend reports via the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
The data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan shows that the public sector accounted for 13.5 million manat ($7.9 million), while the non-state sector accounted for 1.4 billion manat ($823.5 million).
Legal entities accounted for 50.5 percent of the turnover of the public catering sphere in the private sector and 49.5 percent for individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this sphere from January through September 2023.
The turnover of legal entities for the year increased by 22.5 percent and amounted to 742.3 million manat ($436.6).
