BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. The turnover of the public catering sector in Baku increased by 23.7 percent from January through October 2023, compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to 1.115 billion manat ($655.9 million), Trend reports.
The data of the Baku City Statistics Department shows that in the reporting period, the turnover of legal entities in the catering sector amounted to 589.7 million manat ($346.9 million), or 52.9 percent of the total turnover.
The turnover of public catering sector in Baku in 2022 increased by 44.2 percent compared to 2021 and amounted 1.096 billion manat ($644.8 million), while the volume of trade turnover in Baku in 2022 increased by 5 percent compared to 2021 and amounted 30.819 billion manat ($18.1 billion).
In 2021 the turnover of the public catering sector in Baku increased by 29.2 percent compared to 2020 and amounted to 643.6 million manat ($378.6 million).
