BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 14. The turnover of Baku's public catering sector climbed by 18.7 percent in 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, reaching 1.451 billion manat ($853.5 million), Trend reports.
According to Baku City Statistics Department data, the turnover of legal companies in the catering sector was 787.5 million manat, or $463.2 million, during the reporting period (14.1 percent growth compared to the same period in 2022).
In 2022, the turnover of Baku's public catering sector climbed by 44.2 percent compared to 2021, reaching 1.096 billion manat, or $644.7 million, while the volume of commerce turnover in Baku increased by 5 percent compared to 2021, reaching 30.8 billion manat, or 18.1 billion.
Note that in 2021, the turnover of the public catering sector in Baku increased by 29.2 percent compared to 2020 and amounted to 643.6 million manat, or $378.6 million.
