BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. The output of foundry steel in Azerbaijan from January through July 2024 increased by 31.4 percent (up to 223,800 tons) compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
The manufacturing value of metallurgical industry products and ready metal products in the country grew by 28.68 percent to 771.8 million manat ($454 million) in the same period last year.

To note, the manufacturing value of products of the metallurgical industry and finished metal products in Azerbaijan decreased in 2023 compared to 2022 by 12.57 percent to 1.1 billion manat ($647,000).
