ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 4. Turkmenistan ranks among the top ten countries with the lowest octane-95 gasoline prices as of September 2, 2024, Trend reports via the Global Petrol Prices (GPP).

The GPP portal reports that gasoline in Turkmenistan costs $0.0429 per liter. This places Turkmenistan alongside several other countries with affordable gasoline, including Iran, which has the lowest price at $0.029 per liter.

The list of countries with the lowest gasoline prices also features Nigeria, Malaysia, Algeria, Kuwait, Angola, Egypt, Venezuela, and Libya.

On the flip side, the highest gasoline prices are found in countries such as Israel, Barbados, Singapore, Denmark, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Monaco, and Hong Kong, with Hong Kong being the most expensive at $3.269 per liter.

As of September 2, 2024, the average price of octane-95 gasoline worldwide stands at $1.31 per liter. These variations in gasoline prices are largely attributed to different national fuel taxation structures and subsidies policies.
