ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 12. Turkmenistan ranks among the top eight countries with the lowest Octane-95 gasoline prices as of September 9, 2024, Trend reports, in reference to Global Petrol Prices.
Data from the Global Petrol Prices (GPP) shows that gasoline in Turkmenistan costs $0.0429 per liter. This places Turkmenistan alongside several other countries with affordable gasoline, including Iran, which has the lowest price at $0.029 per liter.
The roster of nations boasting the most wallet-friendly gasoline prices includes Nigeria, Malaysia, Kuwait, Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Venezuela, and Libya.
On the flip side, the countries that really take the cake when it comes to sky-high gasoline prices are Barbados, Israel, Singapore, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Monaco, and Hong Kong, with Hong Kong being the absolute cream of the crop at a whopping $3.27 per liter.
As of September 9, 2024, the average price of octane-95 gasoline around the globe is sitting pretty at $1.29 per liter. These variations in gasoline prices are largely attributed to different national fuel taxation structures and subsidies policies.
