BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. A total of 31 companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Türkiye from January through August 2024, which is 17 companies less than in the same period of 2023, Trend reports via the statement of Türkiye's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB).
“While the total capital of Kazakh companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 31.7 million liras ($930,000) in the reporting period, this figure amounted to 148.25 million liras ($4.34 million) in the same period of 2023,” the statement of TOBB reads.
The statement also noted that from January through August 2024, the majority of Kazakh companies (20) were registered in Istanbul.
“The total capital of Kazakh companies registered in Istanbul amounted to 11.8 million Turkish liras ($350,000),” TOBB emphasized.
The statement added that 20 trading companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Türkiye from January through August 2024, while the rest of the companies cover other sectors of the economy.
