ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 3. Turkmenistan plans to allocate capital investments exceeding $11 million as part of the "Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments in 2024" by the end of this year, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov said, Trend reports via the official Turkmen media.
"According to the country's socio-economic development program, the capital investments will be directed towards the country's development and will enable the construction and modernization of production and socio-cultural facilities," emphasized the head of state.
According to the media, 67.8 percent of the investments are allocated for the construction of production facilities, while 32.2 percent are directed towards social projects.
The president highlighted that the revenue portion of the state budget has increased due to economic reforms, the introduction of innovations, and the growth of the private sector's share.
