BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 17. Cast steel production in Azerbaijan increased by 24.9 percent (up to 254,000 tons) from January through September 2024 year on year, Trend reports.
In the reporting period, the production of the metallurgical industry and finished metal products in the country decreased in value terms by 28.06 percent to 1.02 billion manat ($600 million) versus 800.8 million manat ($471 million) during the first nine months of 2023.
