BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. The production of paint and varnish products from January through September 2024 amounted to 30,161 tons, which is 7.2 percent more than the indicator of the same period of 2023, Trend reports.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that propylene production in the reporting period amounted to 107,600 tons, which is 6.9 percent less than the indicator of the same period of 2023.

To note, Azerbaijan produced 153,100 tons of propylene, 162,800 tons of polyethylene, 165,600 tons of ethylene, 208,100 tons of iodine, and 21,627 million cubic meters of nitrogen in 2023.
