ASTANA, Kazakhstan, December 6. Kazakhstan has achieved a remarkable milestone by breaking into the Top-50 of the Economic Prosperity Ranking, outpacing major players like Russia, Türkiye, China, and its Central Asian counterparts, Trend reports.
Recently, the innovative Canadian analytical and financial platform HelloSafe unveiled the highly anticipated 2024 Global Prosperity Index. The evaluation was holistic, leveraging insights from the World Bank and the United Nations, utilizing six pivotal metrics: GDP, GNI, national savings rate, Human Development Index (HDI), Gini coefficient (a measure of social inequality), and poverty level.
On this account, Kazakhstan stands out as a dynamic player on the global stage, showcasing a commendable index score of 47.36. This achievement positions it ahead of notable nations such as Russia (46.69 points), Belarus (46.34 points), China (42.69 points), Türkiye (42.40 points), and its Central Asian counterparts, highlighting its robust potential and competitive edge in the realm of prosperity.
The latest ranking showcases the pinnacle of economic success, highlighting Luxembourg, Norway, and Ireland as the frontrunners in wealth generation. Notably, Luxembourg boasts an impressive prosperity index of 86.2 points, exemplifying its robust financial ecosystem. The most economically challenged nations, as highlighted by HelloSafe, are predominantly located in Africa, featuring Mozambique (10.88 points), the Central African Republic (11.35 points), and Madagascar (13.09 points).
To note, HelloSafe Prosperity Index is based on data from the World Bank and UNDP (United Nations Development Program). The HelloSafe Prosperity Index was developed to provide a comparative assessment of the well-being of countries, taking into account a combination of economic and social factors.
