BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 27. Azerbaijan exported 441,000 tons of methanol (methyl alcohol) worth $94.9 million in the period from January through November this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Customs Committee shows that this is $13.5 million (16.6 percent) more in value and 9,035 tons (2 percent) more in volume than in the same period of last year.
Methanol (methyl alcohol) exports accounted for 0.39 percent of the country's total exports over the 11 months.
To note, Azerbaijan exported 450,000 tons of methanol (methyl alcohol) worth $81.4 million in the first 11 months of last year.
