BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 6. In the stretch from January through November 2024, Azerbaijan cranked out a whopping 3.7 million tons of cement, really putting their shoulder to the wheel.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that this represents an increase of 9.3 percent, equating to an additional 318,000 tons compared to the corresponding timeframe of 2023.
The stocks of ready-made products amounted to 99,900 tons as of December 1, 2024.
Meanwhile, a total of 27,000 tons of lime was produced in the country during the first 11 months of last year, which is 15,400 tons, or 36.3 percent less than for the period from January through November 2023.
