BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 7. The steel exports from Türkiye to Azerbaijan decreased by 11.2 percent in the period from January through December 2024 compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $101.3 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
In the interim, Türkiye's exportation of steel commodities to Azerbaijan reached a valuation of $9.6 million in December 2024, reflecting a 13.2 percent increment compared to the corresponding timeframe in 2023.
Türkiye's steel export metrics demonstrated a robust uptick of 8.7 percent from January through December 2024, juxtaposed against the corresponding timeframe in 2023, culminating in a substantial aggregate of $16.1 billion.
In December 2024, Türkiye's steel exports reached a valuation of $1.4 million, reflecting a 7.3 percent increase compared to the figures from December 2023.
To note, in the preceding 12-month period of 2024 (spanning from December 2023 through December 2024), Türkiye achieved steel exports totaling $16.1 billion.
