BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 8. Azerbaijan shipped out a whopping 48,200 tons of potatoes, raking in a cool $20.5 million from January through November 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's State Customs Committee indicates that this represents a decrease of $10.6 million (34 percent) in value and 22,900 tons (32.2 percent) in volume compared to the same period last year.
Azerbaijan's potato export metrics constituted a mere 0.08 percent of the aggregate export portfolio, while representing 0.66 percent of the non-oil sector export dynamics during the specified reporting interval.
