BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 8. Azerbaijan exported a total of 145,600 tons of tomatoes worth $175.4 million in 2024, the country's Ministry of Agriculture told Trend.
As per the obtained data, tomatoes emerged as the leading greenhouse product exported from Azerbaijan to international markets in 2024.
Additionally, Azerbaijan exported a total of 140,600 tons of tomatoes, valued at $161.9 million, in 2023. This marks a notable increase compared to the previous year, with the volume of tomato exports rising by 3.6 percent, while the export value surged by 8.3 percent.
