BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 9. Azerbaijan imported 14,087 tons of milk and cream worth $22.8 million in the period from January through November last year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Customs Committee shows that this is by 347,000 or 1.5 percent more in value terms and by 2,479 tons or 21.3 percent more in volume terms compared to 2023.
The volume of imports of milk and cream for the first 11 months of last year amounted to 0.12 percent of the total import volume of the country.
To note, Azerbaijan imported food products worth $2.2 billion in total from January through November 2024. This is $214 million, or 10.8 percent, more than for the same period of 2023.
