BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. Azerbaijan’s production of machinery, equipment, other vehicles, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers reached a value of 826.6 million manat ($486.2) in 2024, a source in the State Statistics Committee told Trend.
According to the data, the production of cars, trailers, and semi-trailers increased by 44.7 percent compared to 2023, while the production of machinery and equipment decreased by 51.4 percent, and the production of other vehicles fell by 50.3 percent.
Moreover, the country produced a total of 5,998 passenger cars in 2024, which is 2,129 units more than in 2023.
Additionally, Azerbaijan’s tractor production decreased by 5.9 percent compared to 2023.
