BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 22. Snam has unveiled its 2025-2029 Strategic Plan, outlining investments of 12.4 billion euros, marking an 8% increase compared to the previous plan, Trend reports.

According to the producer, the plan prioritizes gas infrastructure development and energy transition initiatives.

The bulk of the investment, 10.9 billion euros, is allocated to sustainable gas infrastructure projects. This includes 8 billion euros for transport projects, such as completing the Adriatic Line, replacing 850 km of pipelines with hydrogen-ready standards, and connecting biomethane plants.

Storage upgrades will receive 2 billion euros, including investments in Edison Stoccaggio assets, expected to finalize by early 2025. Additionally, 0.9 billion euros is earmarked for commissioning the Ravenna FSRU and small-scale infrastructure at Panigaglia and Pignataro.

Energy transition investments total 1.5 billion euros, reflecting a rise from the previous plan’s 1.2 billion euros.
