ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, January 28. In the Lebap region of Turkmenistan, the stage is set for cotton sowing, with the majority of agricultural machinery primed and ready to roll for the season, Trend reports.
As of now, over 310 out of 336 modern 4-row seeders of the СЧН-4БЭ Pes-4 type have undergone technical inspections and are ready for use. Additionally, all 64 precision seeders of the "Monosem" type, as well as around 20 precision seeders from the "Gaspardo" and "Gansa-31" brands have been prepared.
Preparations for agricultural tools used for inter-row cultivation of cotton fields are nearing completion. All 66 six-row cultivators of the "Orthman-8325" type, 33 eight-row cultivators of the "Orthman-8375" type, belonging to the Lebapobakhyzmat production association, and approximately 900 KHU-4B cultivators have passed inspections and are ready for operation.
Additionally, an adequate inventory of replacement components for machinery, seeders, and associated apparatus has been established. The spare components will be deployed as required throughout the planting period. Most of the required parts are produced at the Turkmenabat Experimental Repair Plant.
