BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 10. Azerbaijan's production of copper ores amounted to 378 tons in 2024.

The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that this marks a decrease of 1,758 tons, or 5.6 times less, compared to the same period in the previous year when 2,130 tons of copper ores were produced.

Furthermore, Azerbaijan produced 5.5 tons of gold content in copper concentrate, 570 tons of silver content in copper concentrate, 3,184 tons of silver ores and concentrates, and 2,663 tons of gold ores and concentrates.

These figures reflect annual declines of 39.3 tons (8 times), 789 tons (58 percent), 521 tons (14 percent), and 97 tons (3.5 percent), respectively.

Thus, Azerbaijan produced 44 tons of gold in copper concentrate, 1,359 tons of silver in copper concentrate, 3,705 tons of silver ores and concentrates, 2,760 tons of gold ores and concentrates in 2023.
