BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. The value added to Azerbaijan's non-oil and gas sector grew by one percent this January compared to the same month last year.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) amounted to 94.3 billion manat ($55.47), 0.9 percent less than in January 2024.
Besides, the value added in the oil and gas sector went down by four percent.
A total of 39.9 percent of the GDP production accounted for industry, 10.3 percent for trade and vehicle repair, 7.1 percent for transport and warehousing, 4.2 percent for construction, 3.1 percent for agriculture, forestry, and fishing, two percent for accommodation and food services, 1.9 percent for information and communication sectors, 20.7 percent for other sectors, and 10.8 percent for net taxes on products and imports.
GDP per capita in Azerbaijan totaled 922.1 manat ($542.4) during the mentioned period.
