BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 17. The production volume of RON-92 gasoline in Azerbaijan took a nosedive last year.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that this figure slightly exceeded 1.2 million tons, down 268,000 tons (17.9 percent) from 2023 (1.49 million tons).
Additionally, last year, Azerbaijan produced 590,000 tons of aviation kerosene and 196,000 tons of gasoline for the chemical industry, which were 28,000 tons (4.5 percent) and 94,000 tons (32.4 percent) less, respectively.
To note, in 2023, the production of aviation kerosene in Azerbaijan amounted to 618,000 tons, and gasoline for the chemical industry - 290,000 tons.
