BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 19. The public catering turnover in Azerbaijan amounted to 187.9 million manat ($110.7 million) in January 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this figure rose by 41 million manat ($24 million) or 21.2 percent compared to the same month last year (146.9 million manat or $86.2 million).
To note, as much as 50.3 percent of catering turnover in the private sector in January last year was attributed to legal entities, while 49.7 percent was owned by individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities in this sphere. The turnover of legal entities increased by 20.7 percent, reaching 93.6 million manat ($54.9 million) compared to the same month in 2024.
