ASTANA, Kazakhstan, February 27. In 2024, the volume of oil supplies to Germany increased by 50 percent, and this level is planned to be maintained in 2025, said Kurmangazy Iskaziev, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of KazMunayGas (KMG), speaking at an expanded meeting of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, Trend reports.
According to Iskaziev, it is expected that this year will see
the completion of coordination with the Chinese side on the
technical assignment for the development of the feasibility study
for the expansion of the Kazakhstan-China pipeline.
"Moreover, the expansion of the fleet and tanker pool of
KazmorTransflot is planned. In this direction, the project for
acquiring two Aframax-type oil tankers is scheduled to begin in
2025," Iskaziev noted.
Yesterday, an expanded meeting of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Kazakhstan's Astana, dedicated to the results of the ministry’s activities for 2024 and tasks for 2025. The primary emphasis was on the critical performance metrics of the nation's fuel and energy sector.
