BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 7. Azerbaijan imported 62 tons of titanium ores and concentrates from abroad, with a total import value of approximately $140,000 in 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee indicates
that a total of 27 tons of this commodity was sourced from Ukraine,
incurring an expenditure of approximately $60,000, which translates
to an average unit cost of $2,222 per ton.
In the interim, a substantial consignment of 35 tons of titanium
ores and concentrates was procured from Türkiye at a total
expenditure of $80,000, resulting in a calculated average unit
price of $2,285 per ton.
The analytical computations indicate that titanium ores and
concentrates sourced from Türkiye exhibited a price differential of
$63 per ton compared to their Ukrainian counterparts.
