BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 12. The number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic reached 20,175 by March 1, 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Tax Service shows that
this metric demonstrates a year-over-year escalation of 15.4
percent.
In the interim, the cohort of active VAT contributors experienced
an uptick of 12.9 percent, culminating in a total of 561, while the
aggregate of operational entities, or business units, escalated by
four percent, reaching a figure of 5,944.
It is pertinent to highlight that as of January 1, 2025, the
aggregate number of active tax contributors in Nakhchivan stands at
21,778, with a specific subset of 548 entities classified as active
VAT payers, and a total of 6,025 operational business units
recorded.
