BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 13. Visa's contactless payment solution, Tap to Phone, allows small and medium-sized businesses to accept digital payments, a source in Visa told Trend.
Per the data source, approximately 30 percent of the merchants
leveraging this solution are nascent small enterprises.
The worldwide adoption of the Tap to Phone solution experienced a
staggering 200 percent surge in the previous fiscal year, whereas
in Azerbaijan, this metric has escalated by 36.7 percent.
To note, users can turn their simple smartphones into POS (Point of Sale) devices by downloading the Tap to Phone application. This innovative solution empowers microenterprises and small to medium-sized enterprises to facilitate contactless transactions via smartphones equipped with NFC capabilities, thereby granting access to cutting-edge commercial instruments.
