ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 14. As many as 11 cotton ginning plants in Turkmenistan's Lebap region are planning to prepare a total of 11,393 tons of cotton seeds for sowing this season, Trend reports.

The region aims to sow 97,050 hectares with conventional cotton seeds, while another 32,995 hectares will be seeded with cleaned cotton seeds.

In total, agricultural workers in the Lebap region plan to sow cotton on 130,000 hectares of land.
Intensive preparatory work for the cotton sowing season in the region reflects that the season will proceed at a high organizational and quality level, according to the source.
