BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. Azerbaijan's production in the automotive and equipment sectors, including cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, amounted to a value of 93.2 million manat ($54.8 million) from January through February 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that the production of machinery and equipment saw an increase of 22.4 percent compared to the same period last year, while the production of cars, trailers, and semi-trailers experienced a decline of 35.1 percent.
Moreover, the country produced 467 cars from January through February 2025, marking a reduction of 107 units compared to the previous year’s figures.
Meanwhile, the production of tractors decreased by more than 30.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
