BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. Azerbaijan's production of copper ores amounted to 365.3 tons in 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that
this signifies an escalation of 324.1 tons, representing an
increase of 11.1-fold, relative to the corresponding timeframe from
the previous year (32.2 tons).
As of March 1 of this fiscal year, the national inventory of
processed copper concentrate stood at 234.5 metric tons.
It is noteworthy that in the previous fiscal year, Azerbaijan
achieved a total output of 378.8 tons of copper concentrate, which
signifies a decrement of 1,743 tons or a factor of 5.6 in
comparison to the production metrics of 2023, which stood at 2,122
tons.
