BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 19. Azerbaijan's net financial assets experienced an uptick of $2.7 billion in 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan indicates
that this expansion was propelled by foreign direct investments
amounting to $742.4 million, portfolio investments totaling $700.4
million, and additional investments reaching $1.3 billion.
In the interim, the nation’s net financial assets experienced an
uptick of $3.3 billion in 2023, driven by foreign direct
investments amounting to $1.9 billion, portfolio investments
reflecting a decrement of $11.4 million, and other investments
contributing an increment of $1.4 billion.
