ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 19. In Kazakhstan's Astana, Askhat Khasenov, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC "KazMunayGas" (KMG), met with Nikolai Gorban, General Director of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), Trend reports.

During the meeting, stakeholders engaged in a comprehensive dialogue regarding multifaceted dimensions of collaboration within the CPC paradigm, synthesized the outcomes of operational activities for the fiscal year 2024, and deliberated on strategic initiatives for optimizing the throughput of the CPC infrastructure.

Moreover, the CPC General Director apprised Khasenov regarding the ongoing status of the repair and restoration initiatives at the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station, emphasizing that all requisite actions are being implemented to expedite the completion of the project and guarantee the secure functionality of the pipeline moving forward.

Furthermore, as per the findings of 2024, a total of 63.1 million metric tons of crude oil were transported via the CPC pipeline, comprising 55.7 million metric tons of oil sourced from Kazakhstan.

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium operates as a multinational collaborative entity overseeing a sophisticated pipeline infrastructure designed for the transit of hydrocarbons from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and various Central Asian nations to Russian maritime terminals for subsequent exportation.
