BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 1. Azerbaijan’s foreign direct investments in the Ukrainian economy amounted to $6 million in 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan shows that this figure decreased by $17.6 million (3.9 times) compared to 2023.
The share of Azerbaijani investments in Singapore in the total volume of foreign direct investments was 0.3 percent.
In 2023, the volume of investments from Azerbaijan to the country in question amounted to $23.6 million.
In the context of macroeconomic dynamics, the influx of foreign
direct investments into Azerbaijan's economic framework in 2024
surpassed the $7 billion threshold, reflecting an uptick of $388.1
million, equating to a growth rate of 5.83 percent relative to the
preceding fiscal year of 2023.
Furthermore, within the specified reporting timeframe, Azerbaijan
allocated $1.8 billion in foreign direct investment to
international markets, indicating a substantial contraction of 43.3
percent, equating to a reduction of $1.4 billion relative to the
preceding fiscal year.
